Day 184 – A Thousand Paper Cranes

December 15th, 2016 – There’s an old Japanese proverb saying if you fold 1,000 paper cranes you will be granted a wish.

I may not be one who believes in folklore, but this was something I couldn’t resist trying. Although, I decided to add something to my crane folding to give each crane special meaning. I made it a rule that I can only fold a paper crane after some significant life event or memory has happened.

This first event will represent when I first took on this challenge and folded my first paper crane. 999 more to go.
