December 12th, 2016 – After cozying up in the cabin for a while my fiance and I decided to venture out to a nearby trail for a winter hike. We decided to go on a hiking trail around Bass Lake.
We set off an the early afternoon and ventured our way up some extremely snowy pathways. The path to the lake was mostly covered with snow and ice, making it difficult to trek through the woods without straying off. It seemed that we were the only two to have hiked on this pathway for quite some time. We reached the halfway point close to dusk. We grabbed a couple of pics then headed back.
By the time we got to the car it was nightfall, and both of us felt extremely warm from the hike. It ended up being a good workout during the below zero degree temperatures.
